Is it possible to change system volume level/application volume level during run-time

Fine, I don't think they changed the volume system again in W10 so the "W7"-Solution will work from Windows 6 (Vista) to Windows 10.
But the easiest way would probably be to try and error...
Windows 7 Pro (x64 Sp1) & Windows XP Pro (x86 Sp3).
