FitGrids (Package failed to load)
« on: March 14, 2018, 09:56:02 am »
When I open my project ( I inherited it from someone and need to make changes to it) I get the error   FitGrids package failed to load.

The project inspector lists it in yellow see 2 screenshots below.

Its not in the add requirement , and i cannot find it itn the online package mananger.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanx in advance!

I searched the web but unfortunately Google cannot find it. You may need to ask the project author where to get FitGrids.

Once you get it, you just need to install that package and the problem will be solved. To install a package manually (without using Online Package Manager):

01. Lazarus main menu > Package > Open Package File
02. Browse to the source location and select the file
03. Click the "Compile" button and then "Use" > "Install"
04. Your Lazarus may ask you to rebuild the IDE
05. Wait some minutes and restart the IDE
