Hi,

I'm trying to port a REXX CGI library from OS/2 I wrote using Virtual Pascal to Raspbian (Debian Stretch on Raspberry Pi) using Free Pascal. The URL for the following package doesn't appear to exist anymore.

http://wiki.freepascal.org/REXX

Has anyone been able to write a REXX callable function in Free Pascal which will compile and is callable under ooREXX on a Raspberry Pi??

I have ooREXX 4.1.3 and FPC 3.0.4 installed on Raspbian Stretch on a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.

Any help appreciated.

Igor.

Yes - that's a start.

Now to figure out how to glue it together. and compile something.

  • Probably until I exterminate Putin.
The package is also in 3.0.4 and trunk but will only be compiled for the OS/2 family of platforms.
So if you downloaded the sources for FPC, it should already contain the rexx package sourcecode as standard.
But it will not work on a Raspberry Pi because it is OS/2 specific. You can browse it, though, for documentation and porting.

Specialize a type, not a var.
