Hi Folks,

quick question: What are the legal Delimiters to use in HostName of a TSQLConnector, if i have to specify a Port?

The classic way: MyConn.HostName:='192.168.10.10:3900';?
Or something else?
I think i saw on the Forum here the use of the Forward-Slash
MyConn.HostName:='192.168.10.10/3900';

Oh, and no: Don't tell me to use the specific connection-class because i can't since the DB-Type is determined during RunTime.
One System to rule them all, One Code to find them,
One IDE to bring them all, and to the Framework bind them,
in the Land of Redmond, where the Windows lie
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Code is like a joke: If you have to explain it, it's bad
