Suggestion for autopackage under linux

Hello,

I'm just wondering if using autopackage (http://autopackage.org/) could be a good solution for installing lazarus under linux?

This project is for linux distro independant installations and you can link all required files for download into it. I've try it and it sound awesome.

What are the toughts about this? Was this considered?
